LdeC x Sara Roka

By complete coincidence, I first met Sara Roka years ago on a friend’s boat but it was only when I fell in love with a dress in one of my favourite shops in Capri – Antonio Arcucci’s Blu Boutique – that I remembered her. I posted a photo wearing the dress and she contacted me on Instagram. Since then, we have collaborated on a number of different dresses, including a couple which I have only recently posted. 

For those of you who don’t know Sara, she is originally Canadian but lives in Italy, showing in Milan but manufacturing close to Bassano del Grappa in Vincenza. She started making shirts in 2010 before producing complete collections in 2014. She works with a variety of artists to design the exclusive prints which have become her hallmark and has her fabrics printed near Como. 

I receive many enquiries about her clothes. Unfortunately, her dresses and shirts are very popular and sell out quickly so I would advise anybody interested in buying to pay attention when she launches a new collection.
